Quality Control Process

Each and every handset we service here at Zip goes through what we call a 400% quality control process. Every unit goes through the following processes:

1. (IIC) Inbound Initial Control -- Here every unit is scanned in and verified for cosmetic accuracy.

2. (ISC) Initial Software Control -- Each unit is verified to have the correct raw flash file. Rather than do a partial control process, we prefer to inspect 100% of our units to ensure full functionality and uniformity across every handset.

3. (CSC) Customized Software Control -- Every unit is then inspected to ensure that your settings and customizations are loaded properly

4. (OSC) Outbound Software Control -- Here 100% of every unit is powered up, (with your sim, if provided) and all necessary facets of the handset load are verified, (ie. WAP settings, GPRS loads, MMS settigns, etc.) . We insist that 100% of the outbound units are tested, and while other companies consider a 1-2% fallout acceptable, we don't. Ask your current vendor for an outline of their processes. If they are not using a system as rigirous as ours ask them why.
