Zip Wireless Enters Into Agreement with Z-Think, LLC. to use ZOTA system for programming needs.
Through the months of October - November, Zip did a preliminary efficiency study using the ZOTA proprietary OTA system to provision handsets. We sent over 74,000 programming instructions over the air to various manufacturers and models. The system not only had a 100% accuracy rating, but cut the labor cost by over 30%. Zip plans on using this system going forward on all handset provisioning. The system will allow Zip to provision handsets faster, provision models that cannot be done by other companies, and ensure faster delivery times to our clients.
