At Zip Wireless our desire is to truly help wireless carriers present their customers with the best handset line-up possible based on their unique market and demographics. Rather than follow a trend, we try to create trends in our carriers line-up. We work with them in developing a product line through multiple manufacturers, across multiple platforms. By knowing whats around the corner in their product lines, we can maximize a products lifecycle and reduce our EOL risk.
A typical wireless handset distributor makes available approximately 20-25 model choices at any given time. With the ability to work with multiple OEM vendors, Zip Wireless is able to offer a much wider array of handset choices. In 2010, we sold over 90 different handset models. Zip Warranty
Zip Warranty was created to simplify the warranty process as it relates to our customers. Until we created our online warranty portal, our customers had to either deal with repair phones through the traditional RMA service, or deal with a multitude of manufacturers, and try to keep track of what phones were where. Zip Warranty gives our customers access to a centralized database for all their warranty claims. They never need to call in for an RMA number. They simply login to their portal and file a claim. They bun-dle that unit and send it to our warranty processing center.
Zip Access
Zip Access is an online portal that allows you instant access with real-time updates to your outgoing shipments as well as your order status. You can track the following: your current orders, closed orders, and view individual ship-ments and items shipped. In addition, you have access to tracking information that is updated immediately when orders are processed in our system. Future enhancements will include downloadable IMEI codes in CSV format,
as well as live order placement and one
touch tracking through Fedex.

Provisioning Platform (ZOTA)
Zip wireless has developed a proprietary over the air programming solution that will enable your stores to streamline their point of sale process. Rather than simply sending phones preprogrammed for one carrier or the other, we can provide a live portal that would allow a store to not only instantly provision a blank GSM phone to AT&T or T-Mobile, but any one of the over 30 GSM regional carriers across the country. They can streamline their ordering process to include a generic unbranded GSM phone and have it set up within 30 seconds of a customer’s purchase. The settings will ensure the phone works for WAP/MMS/and all web services. This system is housed entirely at Zip Wireless as well as all internal system engineers. We can add additional profiles within hours of their request and have them tested in a live environment.
Carrier Specific Customization
At Zip Wireless, we specialize in catering to carriers by enabling them to have a completely customized handset to meet their particular network specifications. Normally customizations of this nature are limited to large volume purchases. With our economies of scale, we are able to quickly enable the feature sets in a vast range of handsets, load your customized settings, parameters, as well as graphics and other items at a fraction of the cost you would expect. We can process over 10,000 handsets per day in our new facility, house your product for you, and drop ship to any of your locations.
Marketing Support
At Zip Wireless we operate our own marketing group. This allows us to assist you in creative marketing, to ensure our handsets make the most impact possible to your potential customer base. Zip Wireless is also able to provide product training, high resolution images, POP materials, and more.
